Taylor Swift has revealed that her early songs were about
being bullied at school. The singer claimed that difficult experiences
early in life inspired her to become a musician.
"I was bullied at school and I wrote about that,"
she told Q magazine. "My early songs were about being on the outside
looking in, having no friends.
"I look back and it was a good thing, in the same that
a broken heart gives you a muse."
The star, who is expected to reach the top five with debut single Love Story, added that she cannot imagine becoming a
party-loving popstar.
"I'm not a party girl. I'm a control freak in the
sense that I want to be responsible for my actions and words," she said.
"I think if I was to get wasted at a club one night
and couldn't remember what I had said the next day, that would scare me.
