John James: school bullies ruined my dreams

Big Brother star John James has been talking  about how school bullies made his life hell as a youngster. He was small for his age (although that's hard to believe now!).

'I did cop (stuff) off girls who'd (make fun) of me a bit. I wanted to work in the police force and at that time you had to be at least 5ft 8in and the girls used to say, you won't get in because you won't even reach 5ft 6in.

'That's how short I was!'

The way John's fellow housemate Rachael stared at John reminded him of the sneers of his tormentors.

'That's why I had the problem with Rachael because she looked at people with the same look those girls used to give me,' he explains.

Mentors Crazy Mash Up News

Recently we had an event in Coventry, called Mentors Crazy Mash up, to raise money for BeatBullying. The event was indeed successful, and raised quite a bit of money. From 4pm, myself and Beth were practising in the event hall, so we could do our best on our real performance, whilst Azzy was setting up the stalls.
Throughout the night, many people came and joined the event, it was great. Azzy our lovely presenter (and his wingman), presented everything, and they were just fabulous!!
Clare from Beatbullying HeadQuarters did a wonderful speech about Beatbullying, and said how great it is, and what a pleasure it is to work with Beatbullying.
I also said a speech myself, about what it is like to be a CyberMentor with Beatbullying, and also said a bit about my previous bullied life.

A young girl from the Coventry area came and sung for us at the event, and she was a wonderful singer, she was Awesome!!! We also had a band to sing at the event aswell, they were also great!

Myself and Bethloveshorses sung 4 songs, 2 duets and 1 solo each...we found it a great experience, and had a lot of fun whilst singing.
After all the performances and speech fun...we had an amazing disco. All the people from the CyberMentors site, danced until the end of the event, we all danced together, we felt like one big family! Having fun, laughing, and also..danced like completly loony, mental nutters!!

We are now hoping to go on tour, MCMU is going to be fundraising at London next!!!!
